Introduction to the Marketing Lyfe Podcast Ep. 138

What’s up guys, episode one 38 of the marketing life podcast. This is Terry Timothy, your host. And today guys, we are going to be talking about Facebook messenger ads and what you can actually do to lower the cost per message coming in to your business. So let’s not waste any more time and dive right in.

Messaging

So guys, the first thing I want to talk about is your actual messaging, the messaging of your ad. So for example, you need to have a clear and concise call or message that, that calls out to those people. So for example, when it comes to your messaging, you need to make sure that it’s very clear and concise of what you’re wanting them to do.

Your Offer

The second thing that you need to do is make sure that you have a good offer. So what is the offer that you’re actually giving them if they message you? So if you’re just asking people to message you just because that makes zero sense. So when you, when you design these ads, they need to be going after some sort of offer and needs to be a discount, 50% off free coupon code, free massage. I don’t know, but the offer needs to be there.  They need to want to message you to claim that actual offer.

Image or Video

Now, the third thing is, is just making sure you have a good image or video, so it could be an image. It could be a video inside the video. You need to make sure that you ask them to message your page, to claim the offer. If it’s an image, then basically it needs to say on the image message, the page to actually claim this offer. And I promise you guys, if you do those three things, you will have successful messenger ads.

Response Times

Now on top of that, something I’ve been testing and following up with with people is actual response times. So if your messenger is, if you’re getting messages coming in to your page and you’re not messaging them back fast enough. I’ve noticed that your cost per message goes up. Facebook basically penalizes you for not responding to the messages fast.

Now I’ve done comparisons with other people. Cause we have a, we’re doing a test basically where we have someone managing one page and another person managing another page. And one person is way more aggressive and their cost per message is way lower than the other person. And we are finding this over and over and over again. So if you increase your response times, it’s going to help you get better results when it comes to messenger ads.
